When your Why is Big Enough you will Find your How

Before I share my story with you and the stories of my Victress FM Podcast Guests, I just want to say a few words about my “why.’

Why am I writing this blog? Why am I starting a new movement of Victress Entrepreneurs? It’s very simple, I have a message to share with you.

After surviving a brain haemorrhage, which not only threatened my life, but also to destroy the business that I’d worked hard to develop over the previous 15 years, not only did I survive, but so did my Business!

Surviving a Brain Haemorrhage is a very rare miracle! It is a privilege denied to few.  So, each day, I awake with renewed thanks and gratitude for the gift of life, which is something we should never take for granted.

We only get one life, so let’s give thanks for it and honour it by making each day count.

The fact that I survived was a miracle enough, but that my Business survived too, despite a lengthy rehabilitation, which prevented me from working for almost 3 years, is another miracle all in itself.

But, actually, let me take some credit here.  The fact that my Business survived something so catostrophic, is testament to the hard-work and dedication that I put into forging my own destiny, in the years leading up to that terrifying day.

So, surviving what I have, I feel triumphant!  I feel victorious in Business and in Life and I want you to feel the same way too!

I hope that my story and those of my amazing Victress FM Podcast Guests, will inspire you to dig deep and discover the unique power within yourself, that we all have, to achieve incredible things.

I intend for this blog to be as much a self-help guide as an entrepreneurial road-map, to inspire you, to chase down your dreams and make them a reality.

All of us, at some point in our lives will experience varying degrees of change, challenge or trauma, which will rip the virtual rug from under our feet and make us question everything.  It will make us queston, our identity, our direction, our purpose and our very existence. This blog is for you.

When going through any major life change or challenge,  many women, experience a sudden loss of confidence, low self-esteem and an eroded sense of purpose and identity.

Through my weekly interviews with amazing female entrepreneurs, who have triumphed over adversity, I believe that I have discovered the remedy for this, which you will find within the pages of this blog.

I know from my own personal challenges and turbulent life experiences, that setting yourself a big entrepreneurial goal and taking the steps towards making your dream a reality, is the best thing that you can do for yourself, both in terms of your personal development and your financial independence.

Some women, measure their success and well-being in financial terms, or by their relationships, but for me, it goes much deeper than that.

For us to feel truly whole and fulfilled, we must live our lives with meaning and purpose.

For me, I have found this sense of fullfillment along my entrepreneurial journey and I hope that I can inspire you to take this journey too.

Starting your own Business, is an adventure of self-discovery, which forces you to step out of your comfort zone, take on new challenges and really discover who you are and what you’re capable of.

There is no greater accomplishment than having an idea and turning it into a firm business reality.  Then looking back at all of your achievements and saying to yourself “I did that!”

So for me, success is about the personal growth that we go through as human-beings and entrepreneurs.  It’s about creating a life-style which gives us more time, money and freedom to spend with the people that we love and which allows us to make a difference in other people’s lives.

Despite what challenges we may face in life, I believe that our only barriers are the ones that we create within our own minds.  We all have the power to decide if we want to be the victim or victress of our own lives.  I choose to be a victress.  I hope you will join me?
